My Passion
My passion is Judo. Judo was created by Jigoro Kano. I got into Judo when I was 5 that was around the time that I started school. My family has been doing judo for a long time. For those of you who don´t know what judo is, it it a form of martial arts derived from Jujitsu. Judo means ¨the gentle way.¨ Currently I have been doing Judo for 6 years. In Judo they use belts as rankings the first belt you get is white you get this when you start Judo. The second belt is yellow this is after you have been going to practices for a while and know the throws and pins you need to get promoted. To get an Orange belt you need to know more advanced throws and pins then you needed to know to get yellow. The same goes for green, I got my green belt by beating someone. The next belt is Blue, then Purple (in the u.s) then brown, then first degree black the second degree, third degree, fourth degree, fifth degree. Then you get a red and white belt and then a red belt. For people over the age of sixteen they get to skip white yellow and orange belts and get a green belt right off the bat. I am a green belt and will soon be going up for promotion!
